At the beginning of the story, Alice is sitting with her sister when she notices a white rabbit with a pocket watch hurrying past. Alice follows the rabbit down the rabbit hole and finds herself in a room full of doors. She eventually finds a small door that leads her to a garden, but she's too big to fit through the door. Alice eats a cake that makes her shrink in size, and she then drinks a potion that makes her grow too big for the room. She then eats a second cake that makes her the right size.
